4 winds of the spirit

In the last book of the bible called Revelation

This means apokoliptus

“unveiled.”

John was taken to the heavenlies in a vision and saw end-time events that were to take place in the future

Revelation 7:1-7

7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” 4 And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

These four winds are used to refer to winds originating from the four corners of the earth: north, south, east, and west

in Zechariah 6:5, “the four winds of heaven,” sometimes translated as “the four spirits of heaven.”

The powerful NORTHERN wind accompanied by lightning that brings rain, growth, and increase,

The warm wind from the SOUTH brings peace, quiet, healing, and comfort,

The strong and dry EASTERN wind scorches devastates and separates.

The wind from the WEST drives off the devourer and brings relief and the promise of ‘rain’ of blessing and transformation.

“Four winds” is mentioned in the Bible, it’s usually about some remarkable, unusual, or devastating event. These events are being reported by some of the Lord’s prophets, most often in the form of a vision.

Jeremiah 29 says And I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four quarters of heaven. And I will scatter them to all those winds, and there shall be no nation to which those driven out of Elam shall not come.”

God told Ezekiel to speak to the winds, and as he was commanded, he prophesied to the four winds, and the dead came back to life.

Ezekiel 37:9; Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

Daniel 7:2; 2 Daniel declared,1 “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.

Zechariah 2:6 Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north, declares the LORD. For I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, declares the LORD.

Revelation 7:1: “I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.”

The wind is significant in the story of Genesis 8 where God breathed his wind and the flood waters abate

We see Yeshua in the gospel of Mathew 8:23 He was on the boat with his disciples and a terrible storm and wind arose while he was sleeping. The disciples awoke him afraid say Rabbani… He stood up and spoke to the wind and commanded it to be still and the wind obeyed his voice.

As we are in the decade of Pey let us breathe our Heavenly Father’s wind into our lives. This is the word Ruach

Gods breath!

We have God’s wind live on the inside of us and we have been given the right to breathe that out via speaking singing and praying.

In 5784 there is a fight for your voice, In years past there has been a fight for your voice.

Many would try to stop God’s breath.

Nothing can stop you from speaking, all of heaven backs you up!

His Wind backs you up!

Through cancel culture and control many would attempt to stop God’s worship His sound His prayer and his voice.

Father says Speak when I say and stay silent when I say!

Be vocal under his counsel and breathe His breath, not your opinion and watch as Father backs that up!

The Book of Kings speaks of the prophet Elijah meaning Eliyahu, meaning “My God is Yahweh/YHWH”

He had an adversary King Ahab and the wicked witch Jezebel and her taunts would try to keep you silent. She controls and manipulates. Intimidates and attempts to be little!

But Father says RISE UP. And speak loud SING LOUDER!

SING WITH ALL YOUR HEART UNTO YOUR FATHER!

His wind is what counts for all of Heaven moves to back that up

In the book of 2Timothy 3:16, it says “all scripture is God-breathed”

HIS WIND BACKS IT UP

Let us make our decree and watch his wind come forth with might and power and dominion and glory and honour and praise

Let us pray

Father, we thank you that your wind is all we need.

Your breath is precious, and we guard it with our whole being.

Help us breathe your wind into our land into our families’ lives and our neighbourhoods.

Your wind comes to expose roots, tear them down and re-plant

Your wind will remain when every other wind dies down

We have authority over first heaven and second heaven wind in Jesus’ name. Lord, we speak to them to work on your behalf this day in Yeshua’s Name
